How to download apps on itunes 12.7

The headline was prompted by comments we had received about the loss of the App Store in iTunes version 12.7. While you can still download all the apps you want directly onto your device, those of you with multiple devices didn’t want to have to keep download the same app multiple times.

iTunes 12.7 was released on the day of Apple Event on September 12th, 2017. And this new iTunes version is fully compatible with the iOS 11 software update. After updating to iTunes 12.7, you may don’t like it because it removed App Store, or you meet some iTunes problems such as iTunes keeps crashing and iTunes invalid response. Therefore

Now that Apple has removed the ability to access the iOS App Store in iTunes 12.7 on Mac/Windows (See MacRumors article), I can't find any way to download an IPA file from the App Store.As a note, I'm not worried about installing the IPA files (see "How do I backup and restore my IPA app backups in iTunes 12.7?"), I just need the IPA files as a developer looking for some basic information on

Fortunately, it is still possible to transfer ringtones to your iPhone using iTunes 12.7, except that the method is a little different now. Yes, with a little effort, you can downgrade iTunes 12.7 back to iTunes 12.6 on either a Mac OS computer or Windows PC. I foolishly installed iTunes 12.7, and now find that I am unable to install a development/QA version of my company's app for testing. After downloading the IPA, I am following the steps found on Apple's support page, under "Manually add items from your computer.". There, I'm told to drag the IPA file to the iTunes sidebar, like so:
